Me with my family went to visit Mangalbaria, West Sikkim in this month. We stayed two days in The Bliss Village Resort (4 th & 5 th Nov'21). We enjoyed the beautiful Khangchenjungha and it's neighbours from our room. Rooms are big and the serving boy Mr. Wangchuk was very helpful. However, there is problem of mosquito and leech. They even don't provide mosquito repellent. I asked for mosquito repellent but the owner had blindly refused the existence of mosquito. They don't provide any sanitary kit or sleeper. Food quality was awful. They don't serve food in room at daytime. They accept cash/ net banking and don't accept cards for payment. Moreover the visiting places are quite far from this location. Except the location most of other things are not very comfortable for a traveller.

The resort is very tastefully constructed. The hosts are gracious and the food is great. When I visited, Mr. Dorji was not there, but the hospitality extended by Wangchuk and Mrs. Dorji was immaculate. We were the only guests in the resort, and even with limited staff, the service that was extended to our stay was exceptional. I plan to visit the resort with a larger group in the future.

We were a group of 5 adults and 2 kids. Stayed at Bliss Village resort from 22nd Dec 2019 to 25th Dec 2019. I am short of words to praise this place. It definitely features amongst the top 3 village resorts I have visited in the last 5 years. The property is spread across an area of 7 acres of land. If you are in quest tranquility, this is the place!! Listing down some of the best things about this property. 1) Great views of Kanchenjunga on a clear day from the Premium rooms block. If you are lazy enough to go to the balcony, you can still see the peaks changing its colors right from your bed. 2) Great place for morning trails. 3) Very well maintained property with lovely lawns and flora all around. 4) People fond of birding, you have ample scope here. 5) Bonfire and bar-b-que chicken. Great food is served for lunch and dinner. Local chicken was served at our request, it was lip smacking. 6) Great hospitality from Mr. Dorji and his assistant Deven. Also to mention, this resort is just 1.5 kms from Mangalbarey market. So you can walk down for 15-20 mins and get anything you wish. The roads of Sikkim are now great, it will take around 4.5 hrs to reach this place from NJP. We loved this place so much that we cancelled all our tickets and extended our stay by a day. A place of must visit.

We were recommended Bliss by our travel adviser. We stayed for 4D/3N and it was a wonderful experience of West Sikkim. Because of being off season, we were the only residents. This had positives and negatives.Positives was the total silence, views and serenity that we much enjoyed. Downside was services were operating with skeletal staff. But we didnt face any difficulty with services. Spacious old style rooms and bath, gardens and play area, parking, restaurant and room service Quite some travelling to reach the venue though Dont expect high-tech fittings or Wi-Fi, soak in the old style charm and enjoy with nature Friendly and helpful staff Overall, it was a great stay and great experience and we all enjoyed the stay.

We three friends visited Biksthang at West Sikkim and stayed in Bliss Village Resort from 3rd to 5th May '19. It was a lovely experience at the resort in every sense....food, hospitality, room and above all the place from where you can see Mt. kanchendzungha from bedroom also. We would love to go there and wanna stay at Bliss Village Resort again n again...
